This Privacy Policy explains how ReelsLab collects, uses, stores and shares information when you visit reelslab.ai, create an account, commission a Reel, upload property media or communicate with us.

ReelsLab currently provides a founder-directed creative service for independent vacation-rental hosts. This policy applies to the website, client portal and related project communications.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use ReelsLab, we may collect:

• Account and contact information, such as your name, email address and authentication records.
• Project information, including property details, target guests, selling points, campaign goals, selected creative direction, feedback and delivery status.
• Customer content, including photos, video clips, logos, text, URLs, captions and other media you choose to provide.
• Transaction information, such as payment status, amount, currency and processor reference. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number.
• Support communications, including messages, attachments and records needed to resolve a request.
• Technical and usage information, such as IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring page, approximate location derived from IP and error or performance data.

How we use information

We use information to operate the website, authenticate users, process orders, understand the creative brief, produce and deliver commissioned content, provide support, maintain security, prevent abuse and improve the service.

We may also use contact information for transactional messages about an account or project. Marketing email, when used, is handled separately and may be opted out of through the message or by contacting us.

Property media and AI-assisted production

Your property media is used to evaluate, create, review and deliver the work you request. Production may involve AI-assisted video, image, audio, editing or storage tools operated by service providers.

You should upload only media you own or are authorized to use. Do not include sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for the project. ReelsLab does not intentionally publish customer media or finished work as a public portfolio example without separate permission.

When information is shared

We may share the minimum information needed with vendors that help us provide the service, including authentication and email providers, payment processors, Cloudflare hosting and storage, analytics providers, and AI or media-processing providers used for production.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, in connection with a business transfer, or when you direct or consent to the disclosure. We do not sell personal information for money.

Cookies and analytics

ReelsLab may use essential cookies for login, security and preferences. When enabled, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity help us understand aggregate site use and diagnose usability or performance issues. These services may set or read cookies and receive technical usage information under their own privacy terms.

You can restrict cookies through your browser. Blocking essential cookies may prevent account and portal features from working correctly.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain project and transaction records, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and protect the service. Retention varies by record type and may continue in backups or security logs for a limited period after deletion from active systems.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please keep account credentials confidential and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also request account closure or ask questions about a project's stored media.

We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and some information may be retained where required for legal, transaction, security or legitimate recordkeeping purposes.

Children and international processing

ReelsLab is intended for adults commissioning business or promotional content and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us.

Our providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use available contractual or legal mechanisms intended to support those transfers.

We may update this policy as the service, providers or legal requirements change. The date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes may also be communicated through the website or by email when appropriate.
